After having deviated from the traditional adventures of this Brave Cowboy, it is time to return to our regular scheduled programming...
Nobody really likes to travel - period. Fortunately, modern transportation has evolved from the horse and buggy of old. It is not only much, much safer but it can be much, much more comfortable. When it is not? Try sitting in the very last row, near the jon, in a middle seat surrounded by "plus-sized" occupants...for 4 hours...
The Man upstairs must have been watching over this cow herder as He intervened and had an email sent stating the following:
"Your upgrade request has been processed"
Disaster adverted!
What a sight it must have been for all those pompous executives and ritzy high-lifers to see a lone ranger take a seat amongst their "kind". Much to their chagrin, he would be spending the next 4 hours on their turf. Was he "worthy"? Absolutely not. This boy did not grow up with a golden spoon in his mouth; rather, there was no spoon at all - they were too expensive.
Dinner was served on real glass plates with silver utensils. The main course was "golden pasta smothered in Italy's finest marinara sauce", accompanied by a tossed green salad and a warmed sourdough roll. For dessert, Oreo Cheesecake - smothered in chocolate sauce. Wine was available for consumption to wash this all down; however, this ol' boy prefers his trusty canteen.
But was he complaining? Heck no! Beats buck stew any day...

Hey Andrew,
This is Celeste's cousin Holly. This post was hilarious!! I have been in the exact scenario you described...in the last row, where the seats don't go back, between two large individuals, AND a couple in the row right in front of me going at it. These people were not attractive. It was disgusting. Needless to say I was scarred by that experience, and incredibly jealous of yours!! Gimme some oreo cheesecake!
I was quite surprised at how delicious the oreo cheesecake was...:-)
